Set your clocks to LP4

Closing out 2023 with the BADBADNOTGOOD collaborative EP New Heart Designs EP; offering nu-jazz reimaginings of cuts from their 2021 mega breakout Glow On – in a similar vein to the Mall Grab collab Share A View EP which followed 2018’s sophomore smash Time & Space) – Turnstile have seemingly not ceased touring in the two years that they’ve become one of the hottest bands in hardcore punk, general rock or live music.

Noting the three-year pattern between each full-length thus far, any studious fans will likely have their calculations set for LP4 to arrive sometime in 2024, resulting in yet another year catered towards the further ascent of Turnstile. Mark our words, if the Baltimore group continue to move from effortless strength to strength as they’ve continued to exude, next year could be the final nail in the coffin of their underground past as well as the last definitive blow to the shaky door currently preventing their name from being uttered in the same breath as the likes of Queens Of The Stone Age, Foo Fighters or Jane’s Addiction.

The further ascent awaits…
