The Eurorack synth combines FM sound generation with analogue filters.

Originally announced at the Superbooth trade show way back in 2021, the Jomox Mod FM has been a long time coming. Packaged as a Eurorack module but effectively an instrument in its own right, the Mod FM is an eight-voice FM synth with analogue filters. Combining Yamaha DX100-style four-voice FM synthesis with Oberheim/Sequential Circuits-inspired SSI2140 analogue filters, the Mod FM is a unique offering. It’s not cheap by the standards of most Eurorack modules, but really you’re looking at a serious synth here, which can also interact with other modules thanks to extensive CV modulation options.
